KitColorField

sRGB hexadecimal field with a swatch and popup picker.

Bind text to the draft, accepted-color to the validated projection and swatch to its rendered color. Choose ColorAlphaMode.opaque or .editable and handle text requests or color-requested.

The picker opens a local draft from the accepted color; the application accepts only the final request. SrgbColorView channels are sRGB bytes, without implicit HSL or linear RGB conversion.

Complete example

This complete Slint file is a visual composition used to produce the screenshot above. Internal strings without a label property retain the kit’s default language; system dialogs follow the host platform. Projected state and callbacks requesting a decision need host wiring; the standalone fixture does not supply that controller. Set up the Rust project, then see the typed controller application for working editing, validation and selection.
